Want to have dinner and support positive initiatives at Camden Middle School? Here's an opportunity to do both of those things at the same time! Mention that you're there to support the Camden Middle School Student Council and a portion of your sale will be donated back to the CMS Student Council! It runs tonight (4/26) from 5PM to 7 PM at the Camden McDonalds!

SPECIAL DELIVERY! Agriculture students from CMS brought over some floral arrangements they made to the District Office! It has only been a few minutes, but the staff is really enjoying these new additions!

Here's a neat moment from last week's MOBOCES Open House! Camden senior Ian Hansen got a chance to show the Heavy Equipment Operation simulator to his younger brother. This video comes from Mike Jaquays from the Daily Sentinel.

Students in our Design for Drawing and Production classes at CHS recently built Solar Cookers! On Friday, they attempted to roast some hot dogs during a nice 80 degree day.
Students had to prepare their device by angling it towards direct sunlight. They recorded the temperature of the meat using a laser thermometer. Every student that tested reached over 100 degrees with the highest temperatures hitting over 145 degrees fahrenheit! The classes were led by Michael Petrie, Jeremy Calkins, and Jake Bates.

This Friday and Saturday, join the CHS Drama Club as they present "The Beverly Hillbillies"!
The opening night performance will be held on Friday, 4/28 at 7 PM.
An encore "Y'all come back now, y'hear?" performance will be held on Saturday, 4/29 at 6 PM.
Admission is FREE!

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Camden Boys' Soccer program yesterday as they hosted a semi-professional match between Syracuse FC and Binghamton FC!

We remind you that this is happening on Sunday! Come support the CHS Boys Soccer program here at the CHS Stadium!

Last weekend, the Camden High School Odyssey of the Mind teams attended the New York State Championships in Syracuse! The CHS program was fortunate enough to send two squads to states in this global problem-solving competition.
The team participating in the "Pirates and the Treasure" problem placed fifth with a hilarious sketch about "porch pirates", while the team contesting "The Most Dramatic Problem Ever!" placed tenth in New York State!
We'll have a full story on how the teams developed their work soon.
Congratulations!

Well done!

The two teams competed to raise the most money by developing and executing a marketing plan for baked goods they sold during the school day. Team "Whoopie Bakers" raised $1,517.64 for the Ciani family, while the "Blue Devils Cafe" team raised $1,963.05 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. They achieved a combined total of $3,480.69 in funds raised!
