Connected Community Schools had a healthy turnout for their Forest Park cleanup night earlier this week!


The CHS Concert choir enjoyed a performance by The Pointercounts from SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music yesterday! The ensemble is an A Cappella group of primarily music students from the college. They performed a variety of songs and then answered some questions from the high school students.

Camden was selected to host this year's Boys/Girls Class B-1 Track and Field Sectional Championship. The event will occur on Thursday, May 25th at Camden High School and start at approximately 4:00 PM.
Due to this being a Section 3 Championship event, tickets must be purchased in advance or at the gate. Please note that there will be one point of entry, which will be at the ticket booth by the tennis courts. All ticket sales, whether online or in person, are cashless.

Congratulations to sophomore Lainie Liberatore! Lainie advanced out of the Section III state qualifier, and will represent Camden at the Girls Golf State Championship in Saratoga on June 3-5!

Both of our Blue Devil varsity teams advanced on the diamond in today's Section III Round of 16!
Boys' varsity baseball defeated Oneida 5-3. They will travel to Cortland on 5/25 their quarterfinal game, with a 5:00 PM start at Gutchess Lumber Park.
Girls' varsity softball topped Holland Patent by a 15-1 score. They will host Utica Notre Dame in a quarterfinal on Thursday 5/25 at CHS Turf Field 1. That matchup begins at 6:30 PM.

Congratulations to CHS sophomore golfer Todd Willson!
Todd qualified for the next round Section III tournament play, which includes the opportunity to qualify for States. The Section III tournament and state qualifier begins on Wednesday at the Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton.
During the Section III East tournament held today, Todd shot an 83 at the Skenandoa Golf Club in Clinton, good for 11-over par and a spot in the championship rounds.

On Thursday, May 25th, the Camden track and field teams will host the Section III Class B-1 Championships on the newly improved Camden High School stadium track. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
This week’s track and field Class B1 Championship meet is a Section III Championship event, and admission will be charged per Section III policy. As an additional component of that policy, all ticket sales are cashless as they have been in recent years for Section III Championships.
Individual tickets are $7.20 if ordered by midnight Wednesday and $8.00 on the day of the event. A “Family Four Pack” is also available now through the day of the championship at a discounted price of $28.00 for four tickets.
