Another successful year! Mrs. Malenowski's Third Grade IFA Reading Group raised $795.07 for McConnellsville's award-winning Pennies for Puppies initiative! The funds will be donated to the Wanderers Rest Humane Association in Canastota. Thank you to all who supported our students in this endeavor!
That moment when one of our teachers steps out onto the court and starts draining three-pointers.....
McConnellsville students are working on their monthly character focus, responsibility, this December. To help students reach their goals, Mrs. Allen has enlisted some outside assistance from the North Pole. Say hello to Cupcake the Elf!

Our varsity athletes brought home some hardware this weekend!!!
Congratulations to our boys varsity bowling team on a home tournament win on Friday, and to the boys varsity wrestling team on capturing second place at the CNS Anderson Tournament. Trey Kimball captured the 132 pound title as part of an impressive team performance by the Blue Devil grapplers. Congratulations to both teams!

On Friday, a group of Camden High School student-athletes made history as they took part in the first-ever match for our brand new girls' varsity wrestling program! The match took place at Fulton.
7th Grader Rylie Meagher and 10th Grader Abigail Douglas both picked up victories in their respective bouts.
Congratulations on taking this huge step for our athletics program!

Camden Middle School Spanish teacher Lisa Kuc had snowballs (Bolas De Nieve!) flying in her classroom last week!
Don't worry, they weren't real ones and nobody made a mess.
They practiced the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in Spanish while having fun with "snowballs" without the cold.

Check out these photos of some of our elementary character education award winners! These "Cougars with Character" and "Bobcats with Character" received these certificates at school assemblies for their effort and attention towards November's character emphasis, teamwork! December's character trait for our elementary learners is responsibility! Let's see some responsible students to close out 2022 on a high note!

Today is an exciting and historic day for athletics in the Camden Central School District!
The Camden girls varsity wrestling program participates in its first match tonight at Fulton!
Good luck, and enjoy the moment!

Mrs. Willson's homeroom at Camden Middle School is competing in the Mac & Cheese Challenge sponsored by NY Agriculture in the Classroom. The Mac and Cheese Challenge is a statewide competition between school groups to see who can produce the best recipe.
Students settled on a base recipe and are now discussing the extras to include that may help make their mac & cheese the winner!
Established in 1985, New York Agriculture in the Classroom (NYAITC) is a partnership of Cornell University, the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, the NYS Education Department, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the New York Farm Bureau.

It's never too late to start thinking about getting active. Join us for Winter Walking on weekdays at Camden Middle School!

The Camden High School Counseling Office recently took a group of interested students on a field trip to MVCC's fall open house event on the Utica campus. Students took a tour of the campus and residence halls, attended presentations on admissions, financial aid, and housing, met with professors from the majors they were interested in, spoke with representatives of clubs, activities, and admissions, and were treated to a pizza lunch from MVCC Dining Services.
This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to see the campus, experience a college open house, and make connections with the MVCC faculty. A special thank you to Kenny Morrison, Asst. Director of Admissions, for facilitating our visit.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
