The "Look at Me, I'm Three!" program is back for January! This month's program will be held on January 18th at 5:30 p.m. at Camden Elementary School. Contact information is included in the flyer!

It's a great day for Blue Devil volleyball, and all three of our teams are scheduled to be in action today!
7th/8th volleyball takes on RFA Orange at home tonight at 5 p.m., in a match that will be held in the CHS Volleyball gym.
The junior varsity and varsity teams will be in action at Central Valley Academy, with start times scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

New year, new books! Here is a small selection of new books that were delivered to the Middle School Media Center last week!

Wednesday night was a special and historic night for Camden athletics! The girls' varsity wrestling team got a chance to show the community what it can do with its first-ever home meet! The Blue Devils hosted a quad meet with athletes from Holland Patent, Fulton, and Mexico!
We're excited to see what you do next! Go Blue Devils!

A multitude of home contests open up our week in athletics! Also highlighting this week's schedule is a girls' varsity wrestling home match on Wednesday, January 4th. It begins at 5 p.m. in the CHS Main Gym!

Mrs Potter's classes at CMS learned about the tradition of Bûche de Noël in France and Tió de Nadal in northern Spain this week and created their own "Yule Logs" to bring home!
Students at Camden Elementary were learning about Computer Science Education Week in the library last week! Each grade level plays an online coding game or codes a robot to learn about computer coding.

Students and staff were delighted as Camden Elementary School held a surprise school-wide holiday assembly on Wednesday!
With the help of Mr. Jerome, students sang a variety of christmas songs. Staff also got in on the performance with a special version of the "12 Days of Christmas".
The occasion wasn't complete without a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus as well, and they brought a special gift to share with students! When students unwrapped their gift, they were excited to see that they all received matching Camden Elementary School T-Shirts to show off their CES Cougar Pride!

Mrs. Paul's class at Camden Elementary School recently took a trip to the Shako:wi Cultural Center in Oneida! Students learned more about the Oneida Nation's culture, traditions, and its role in our region's history, along with plenty of information about the Haudenosaunee nations as a whole.

Despite wet and snowy conditions, Camden High School had the opportunity to host representatives from Syracuse Stage last week. Theater students were treated to an interactive and informational presentation on storytelling themes!
Mrs. Migliori's Pre-K students at McConnellsville recently tried their hand at making gingerbread houses! Family members got to share in the fun for a truly collaborative and festive experience!

Published as a companion to our existing Camden Connections newsletter, this new 30 page publication features more photos, a chance to look back on community events and student achievements, and feature stories you won't find anywhere else!

The CMS agriculture classroom is in the holiday spirit! Local community supporters of Camden's Agriculture Program donated conifer boughs and flowers to be used in centerpieces and Christmas decorations.
The students absolutely loved making the decorations!
Magic happens when community and students work hand-in-hand to make something wonderful!




Remember last year's NCAA Bracket Board project at CHS? Well, Mr. Petrie's class was at it again with a display to help students follow the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which ended with a thrilling final on Sunday! Students made laser-etched plaques throughout the tournament to track the participating teams.

The Camden Central School District is closed on Monday, December 19th.
Due to today's snow day, the "Sprinkles and Sparkles" Cookie Decorating event at CMS is once again postponed. It is now rescheduled for Tuesday, 12/20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School cafeteria.
