It's spring, and our "Look at Me, I'm Three!" participants are growing so fast! So it was only fitting that we had a flower-themed May meeting on Wednesday! The group practiced some relaxing mindfulness, then read the silly story "Grow Flower Grow!" by Lisa Bruce. In the story, Fran tries to feed her flower spaghetti and pizza to make it grow! Then, it was craft time! Attendees made a paper craft, and also planted flowers for themselves (sans spaghetti). As they keep growing, those flowers will grow with them! Mark your calendars! June 4th will be our last "Look At Me, I'm Three!" for the school year before our friends head off to Pre-K in September!

This week at Camden Elementary, 2nd-4th graders went on a virtual field trip right from the library! Using Google Expedition VR Headsets, students immersed themselves into interesting locations. From learning about different habitats to seeing world renowned landmarks such as the Colosseum, students had a great time. They even got to see what it would be like to walk on the moon! The headsets are provided by the Madison-Oneida BOCES School Library System.

A highlight of the District-Wide Art Show is the annual senior show. These works from the Class of 2025 are as unique as the artists who created them! Some will pursue careers in the field, and others will go on to different paths, but they will have one thing in common: The careful attention to detail, problem solving skills, and creative expression that students discover through the arts will empower them no matter where life takes them!
