
Outside of performing in their recent holiday concert, the Camden High School select choirs have been busy this season. They have sang at the Camden Tree Lighting, Toys for Tots, and the Camden Holiday Stroll. They recently finished off the season by caroling at some residences in the village!



This can be a joyful time of year, but remember to keep your eyes open for any..... Grinch-y activity. These two just tried to take Dutch's floor cleaning machine for a joyride at Camden Elementary. Thankfully, we stopped them before they could steal Christmas. That's a relief!


From building gingerbread houses.... to seeing how the pros do it! Mrs. McPheron took her students down to the Turning Stone Resort today for a behind-the-scenes tour of how they constructed their impressive Gingerbread House display!



On Wednesday, Camden Elementary Students were celebrated for meeting their building-wide attendance goals through the CES Power Paw Program!

Whether the choice is a sweater, a flannel, or other winter apparel, today is Family Photo Day as part of CHS Holiday Spirit Week!
Dr. Betsy Bernabe and Billy Bernabe '25 took the occasion to the next level by taking an actual family photo today.


Mrs. Libertella took her MVCC Dual-Credit Chemistry students to the MVCC Utica Campus today to test their samples of silver utilizing the institution's Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.
In addition, they were given a tour of their FAB Lab and Machine Shop! Thanks to Mohawk Valley Community College for welcoming our students and always being a great partner.

We recently asked this reading bike in the CMS Library to play the 1991 hit "Two Princes" for us. Unfortunately, while it is a Spin Doctor, it was not in the band Spin Doctors. Sigh.


Last week in art class with Miss Lis, 4th graders in Mrs. Hollis’s class finished their self-portraits. Great job!





Miss Buehler and Miss Bottini's class made gingerbread houses today at CES!! They are very appreciative of the families that donated items to have such a fun event!

Miss Wood's class at McConnellsville Elementary would like to thank the Mayhew family for gifting the class this beautiful tree this year! The entire McConnellsville Elementary School family has been enjoying it throughout the season.




Photos from last night's boys' varsity basketball contest against Rome Free Academy. In the loss, Isaac Lynch finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Pedro Floge chipped in with 12 points. Todd Willson put together a balanced night with 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The team will be back in action on the road this evening against the Oswego Buccaneers.

On Thursday, December 19th, the Connected Community Schools team will be hosting another Open Hub event at Camden High School! Come see what the Connected Community Schools experience is all about, learn what they can offer our families, and pick up some essential items for the upcoming break! Camden High School students Bailey Conover, Aundrea Burnett, Christina Johnson, and Giulianna Mariani-Bartha combined engineering, culinary arts, and the holiday spirit to create some festive pretzel gingerbread houses in Life Skills Technology class with Mr. Bates.
The class is very excited for their upcoming field trip this Thursday! They will head to the Turning Stone Resort to learn more about their impressive gingerbread house display and how it was constructed. They will also enjoy lunch, and some delicious pastries from the Opals bakery!



Boys' Basketball has a big Tri-Valley League matchup at home tonight as the squad hosts Rome Free Academy. JV tips at 5:00, and Varsity will follow at 6:30.

Just like their friends at CES, McConnellsville Elementary School students in grades 1-4 took part in the Hour of Code event last week during their library time! This is part of Computer Science Education Week, which is a global initiative.







We have a new school single game record! On Wednesday, December 11th, senior Isaac Lynch scored 39 points in a boys' basketball matchup against the New Hartford Spartans.
That sets a new program benchmark for points in a game. The previous record stood at 35 points, as set by Alex Stevens during the 1993-94 season.
Come see the Blue Devils on Tuesday as they take on Rome Free Academy at home. The varsity game tips at approximately 6:30 PM.
