Today's the day!

4th graders in Miss Lis's IFA Art group at Camden Elementary worked collaboratively to create designs on a trash can for the playground. Students discussed the importance of recycling and preventing littering to keep the earth clean and green! Great job, 4th graders!

Congratulations to CHS Principal Chris Centner on being chosen to receive the yearbook dedication at Class Night! Chris was chosen in recognition of his years of service to CHS, as he will be retiring this Summer.

The presentation of this year's Babe Grinnell 110% Award happened in two parts! On Thursday, recipients Brian Gonzalez, Rhyanne Johnson, and Ty Williams received their awards. On Monday, Brooke Musch received her award, as Class Night coincided with the Softball program's win in the sub-regional round of states!
Congratulations to all!

Greenhouse management students are gearing up for ANOTHER project! Students are learning about fungi and growing mushrooms!

A note from Brittany DerCola regarding entrance to tonight's 6th grade concert at CMS:
We have fresh concrete that was just poured out front of our building. Please let any guests that may be coming with you, that are not on Parentsquare, to avoid this area. We did have an "oops" on Monday and we ended up with some footprints in the fresh concrete. Please be mindful of the work area!

The CES leadership team of Mr. Ferretti and Mrs. Mitchell jumped at the chance to support the CES PTO's work by participating in the Camden Color Blast run over the weekend!

When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Miss Scheftic’s Kindergarten class at CES squeezed, shook and sipped fresh lemonade for the letter "L" day of their alphabet countdown!

Camden agriculture students recently attended Farm Fest at DiNitto Dairy Farm in Marcy. Students spoke regarding calf health and care to multiple groups of elementary students. The DiNitto family is a huge advocate for the dairy industry, and our students are lucky to be a part of this event they host each year!

Did you know we have varsity student-athletes competing in high school boys' ice hockey? It all happens through a regional co-op program called the Mohawk Valley Jugglers. The Jugglers are made up of players from about a dozen local schools, including Camden's Brodie and Evan Buckingham. These two student-athletes embody dedication to the sport, often travelling over 45 minutes for practice alone.
The program is largely a self-funded endeavor, and the sport can get expensive over time. If you're interested, you can support the team through their upcoming golf outing on August 2nd. In addition to golfers, they are also looking for raffle basket donors and sponsors.
For more information on this outing, or the Jugglers program, reach out to Megan Buckingham at mbuckingham@camdencsd.org.

Scenes from this past weekend's Camden Color Blast run, presented by the Camden Elementary School PTO! Thanks to all who supported this PTO fundraising event!
