Camden High School art students have been preparing posters for the American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Poster Contest!
The national organization holds this contest each year to give young people the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and creativity, while also bringing to light the work the Auxiliary's Poppy Program does to support hospitalized and disabled veterans, while remembering those who have given their lives. The Poppy Program distributes millions of poppies each year in exchange for donations in order to accomplish these goals. National Poppy Day is held on the Friday before Memorial Day.

We are grateful for the dedication and professionalism of the School Patrol Officers assigned to our District by the Oneida County Sherriff's Office, and their colleagues throughout the region. Whether it's working through difficult situations when they arise, or lending a hand to a student or staff member that needs it, their presence goes a long way.

Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Littler's class used candy hearts for a fun and educational Valentine's Day celebration in the classroom! They did a measuring exercise for some practice in learning about non-standard measuring units, and also did a science experiment. They dipped the hearts in soda, vinegar, and water, and were amazed when the ones in soda started moving! But why? The bubbles from the carbonation begin to attach themselves to each candy and begin lifting those candies to the top of the liquid. When the bubbles burst, the candy falls, and new bubbles begin attaching to lift it up once more.

Junior Isaac Lynch led the Blue Devils in the game with 20 points and 7 rebounds as the Blue Devils rebounded from a slow start that saw them trailing 22-13 at the end of the first quarter. Ryan Leos added 18 points and 5 steals, and senior classmate Brian Gonzalez poured in 10 points of his own.
