Miss Stone's class at CES recently finished their "Cycles in Nature" unit. To wrap it all up, students got to choose a life cycle they learned about and create a poster!
The Look at Me, I'm Three Program will have its next meeting on Wednesday, April 9th at Camden Elementary School! This program is a collaborative effort between the Camden Central School District and Ready 4 Kindergarten. It is for students who will be Pre-K eligible for the 2025-26 school year.
To attend Look at Me I'm Three this year, a child must have had their third birthday on or before December 1st, 2024.

Thursdays are for the Therapy Dogs in CMS Agriculture!
Students spent time training the new therapy dog on confidence. Students had the option to lead the dog through the obstacle course using positive body language and speaking with confidence!

The event runs from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the CHS Cafeteria. Diners over 12 years old can eat for ten dollars, diners aged 6-12 are five dollars, and children under 5 are free of charge. Dine in and take out options are available! Tickets are available in advance from any NHS member, and you can also get them at the door! Like its cousin, the McVille Learning Fair, the CES Discovery Expo is not your everyday science fair. Students get to research a topic of their choice, such as the history of Polaris snowmobiles!

A recent unit about seasons and weather has Miss Wood's class thinking Spring!
During their unit, the class heard all about the weather in Washington DC and got to learn about the cherry blossom trees! To wrap up the unit, they completed a cherry blossom directed drawing! Happy Spring!
