Today, February 15th, 2023, is the 100th Day of School for the 2022-23 academic year in the Camden Central School District! We're more than halfway through the year, let's finish strong over the next four-plus months!

Senior Katie McCarthy closed out her last regular season game in style for the Camden Girls Varsity Basketball team. She drained the winning basket from beyond the arc to break a 44-44 tie and propel Camden to a 47-44 win.

Mr. Bates, Mr. Petrie, and Mr. Calkins's students have demonstrated a need for speed during their recent CO2 car unit! The students have been racing their cars on a carefully designed dragstrip during class time last week, and this week!

Congrats to Kolton Kelley of the Camden Boys' Wrestling Team for winning the 126 lb division at the Section III Division II Tournament over the weekend! With this victory, Kolton has qualified for the NYS Tournament. He will be joined at states by teammate Sean Seymore, who took home 2nd place in the 152 lb division.
Great job, and best of luck, gentlemen!

Scenes from last night's win for the Boys' Varsity Basketball team at Whitesboro! The Blue Devils won 36-34 for their impressive thirteenth win of the season. The regular season wraps up tonight, 2/14, with a huge game at undefeated Central Valley Academy.

Middle school students were introduced to a new coding application called Bitsbox!
This program teaches kids to build simple apps by writing real, text-based computer code. The coding language used is a variant of JavaScript, with the addition of a few dozen special commands (words, basically) that make it easier for newcomers and young learners to build cool stuff quickly.
Sixth grade students Addison Shovlin and Delilah VanSlyke were able to change the background in the software, add a pie, and make the virtual pie explode. They also added a robot to the screen and made it dance. While working in a fun virtual environment, these students had the opportunity to learn some of the fundamentals of professional programming that they may be able to use later in life!

We are just one week away from the next meeting of "Look At Me, I'm Three!"

Congratulations to our Boys' Varsity Bowling team as they claimed the Section III Division 2 Championship yesterday! Koen Turner had the high game for the entire tournament with a 278!
With this victory, they have qualified for the NYSPHSAA State Tournament!

Come see the team in action this evening as they take on New Hartford! The match starts at 6:30 pm!

Boys Varsity Bowling clinched the Tri-Valley League title last night with a 10-1 victory over Holland Patent. The boys finished 15-1 in the TVL and 15-2 overall.
They will compete Sunday for a chance at a Sectional Championship. Great work boys!

The Camden Boys Alpine Ski team took four team wins at the Winter Carnival event in Lake Placid earlier this week. As for this team photo they tweeted, all we'll say is, we might not see a cooler photo this week.
