The Camden High School Science Olympiad team recently competed in their regional tournament at LeMoyne College.
The students did a fantastic job, and earned a spot in the Science Olympiad State Tournament for a second consecutive year.
Some of the team's top event finishes included....
1st in Detector Building, 1st in Trajectory, 2nd in Astronomy, 2nd in Codebusters, 3rd in Environmental Chemistry, 4th in "The Wright Stuff", 4th in WiFi Lab, 4th in Scrambler, 5th in Remote Sensing, 5th in Green Generation, 6th in Experimental Design, 6th in Forensics, 8th in It's About Time, and a 9th place finish in Rocks and Minerals!
States are scheduled for March 17th and 18th at LeMoyne!

Update from OCC: Rylie Meagher is into the semifinals at the NYSPHSAA Girls Wrestling Invitational! She advanced in the Round of 16 by pin, and the Round of 8 by technical fall. Let's keep it going!

Best of luck to Rylie Meagher! The seventh grade student will be the second overall seed wrestling at 94 lbs. in the inaugural New York State Public High School Athletic Association girls' wrestling invitational! The tournament will be held this afternoon at SRC Arena on the campus of Onondaga Community College.

The McConnellsville Gymnasium is full of commotion right now as the McVille PTO hosts Pajama Game Night! We'll share more pictures soon!

Agriculture doesn't have to stop just because it's cold and snowy! Students in the Agriculture Classes at Camden Middle School recently picked the greens and other vegetables they have been growing in the classroom! Ms. Marshman brought some over to the District Office for the staff to try, and the fresh vegetables were a huge hit!

All After-School Activities are cancelled for today, Wednesday, January 25th, due to forecasted poor weather conditions.
The CMS Library is a place to learn so many things! Including circuitry!

Connected Community Schools coordinator Cole Brown recently worked with students at the high school's Connected Community Schools hub to work on goal-setting for the new year! We love seeing our students strive to be the best they can be!



Due to icy roads this afternoon, Camden Schools are dismissing students early today. Middle School students will dismiss at 11:15 AM and HS students at 11:30 AM. Both Elementary Schools will dismiss at 12:30 PM. All PM BOCES and Pre-K along with after school activities are cancelled.

Join us tonight for the Camden Middle School school-wide spelling bee!

All after school activities for Camden Schools are cancelled due to icy road conditions on Tuesday, January 17. Secondary student dismissal will begin 15 minutes early due to the additional time it will take for our buses to get them home. Elementary students will begin dismissal as soon as the buses arrive which is expected to be at the regular dismissal time.
Don't forget, the "Look at Me I'm Three!" program returns this week! This month's program will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 5:30 p.m. at Camden Elementary School. Contact information is included in the flyer!
