Tonight, the CMS Sixth Grade Ensembles will take the stage!

This morning, third graders from Mr. Janes and Mrs. Platt's third grade class at Camden Elementary saw some hard work pay off with a fish release! The class has been raising landlocked Atlantic Salmon through an long-standing educational partnership between the Camden Central School District, Trout Unlimited, and the Fish Creek Atlantic Salmon Club. The partnership aims to educate students about the incredible aquatic wildlife in their own backyard.
In addition to a fish release, students also enjoyed some exploration time to catch and examine other creatures, such as insects or crawfish.
This is the second year we have had a third grade classroom participate alongside our Middle School classrooms in this initiative, as Mr. Janes carried the initiative over from his previous teaching experiences.
The Middle School classes are eyeing Wednesday to release their fish! More to come....
To borrow from a certain movie title..... we certainly saw some Fast Times (and great field event marks, too) at Camden High during last week's Section III Championships!
Congratulations to Camden High School students Thomas Ross, Jackson Wolford, and Josh Stevens on achieving “Half Ton Club” status during the 2024-25 school year!
The “Half Ton Club” is a recognition program that acknowledges students for hard work and commitment to their goals in the weight room. To become a member, a student must complete three lifts meeting or exceeding 1,000 pounds. The three lifts consist of the squat, deadlift, and bench press.
Ross completed his milestone in October, and Stevens and Wolford completed theirs on the same day in May!
Students interested in joining this club should see Mr. Klepadlo at Camden High School for more info.

Last week, the Modified Girls Track Team celebrated the end of their season at Coneheads North! This was their “banquet” to recognize the hard work that the athletes have put in since the end of March. The girls had ice cream, played some lawn games, and they also enjoyed talking about the great season they've had!

Camden FFA spent Friday educating elementary students about dairy calves at DiNitto Farms in Marcy NY! Each student spoke in front of large crowds of students and did an outstanding job answering questions regarding dairy calf care, and represented the chapter and District well amongst their peers locally. Special thanks to Mrs. Wilson for setting our students up with this opportunity!

On Saturday, the Camden Elementary School PTO played host to its 2025 Color Blast Run! Proceeds from the event will go to help the PTO continue their great work on behalf of our students, staff, and families!
Thank you to all who pitched in to make this event a success!

We're looking forward to celebrating our High School students at these highly anticipated events!

The June concert schedule gets started tonight with 5th grade at Camden Middle School!

Between balloon animals, karate demonstrations, Color Blast bib pickup, face painting, and science demos with the famous Professor K, there was something for everyone at last night's Camden Cares Fair!

Today, the Camden High School chapter of the National Honor Society took its annual year-end trip! Chapter members toured some of the City of Boston's most treasured landmarks including walking a portion of the Freedom Trail that connects 16 significant historic sites together. They also went to the renowned Quincy Market, and visited the Boston Aquarium!

At Thursday's Section III Class A Championship Meet, two Blue Devils took top honors! Congratulations to Brenden Chennells (800 meters), and Ellie Hite (pentathlon) on securing event championships on their home track!
Brenden ran a 1:59.88 to win and put himself less than a second away from the school record.
Ellie endured the grind of a five-event evening (100m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, 800m) to capture the pentathlon championship. She was a top two performer among the field in all five events. A very special mention goes to Anna Gilsenan, who was a close second in the pentathlon at 2,027 points, and won two out of the five events in it.
