The 4th graders involved in McVille's Lego Robotics club built a Spinning Ferris Wheel on Tuesday! They coded it to stop at intervals to allow their amusement park riders to board the ride!

Camden CSD is on a 2-hour delay this morning, Wednesday, January 28, 2026. AM BOCES and AM Pre-Kindergarten classes are canceled for today.

In February, the "Let's Play" two-year-old program will once again have two sessions, to be held on Wednesday, February 4th, and Thursday, February 5th. Each session will begin at 10 AM. Offered in partnership with Family School Navigation (Formerly Ready 4 Kindergarten), the “Let’s Play” program is a free monthly program for two-year-olds and their families. It consists of a monthly one-hour block of play-based learning and socialization with parent/guardian involvement. It is offered with the aim of progressing into the “Look at Me, I’m Three!” program for the following year, and creating a two year skill development on-ramp into Pre-K programming. To be eligible for this program, a student must reside in the Camden Central School District, and must have reached the age of two on or before December 1st, 2025. RSVPs are required each month. Spots are limited, and will be on a first-contact, first-serve basis. Early RSVPs are also more likely to get their preferred day to attend. The Camden Central School District has cancelled all remaining after-school activities for today, Friday, January 23rd.

Thursday is a Senior Night Double Feature! At the CHS Gym, the Volleyball program recognizes its Class of 2026, with first serve set for 7:00 PM against Utica Proctor. JV will also meet Proctor for a 5:30 start.

Meanwhile in Utica, indoor track programs from across the Mohawk Valley will recognize their seniors at the TVL Championship Meet, to be held at Utica University's Todd and Jennifer Hutton Sports and Recreation Dome. In addition, the CHS Morgan's Message Club will also be on-site to spread the word about the work they're doing in the arena of student-athlete mental health.

These Orchestra students are among those representing us at the Junior High Area All-State Festival next week, and you can be part of the fun here in Camden!

Who says you can't go home again? High School agriculture student and FFA member Mary Hall returned to her ag education roots by volunteering in the CMS agriculture room during regents week! The 10th grader worked with CMS students to educate them about guinea pigs, including showing off some of her very own guinea pigs! Throughout her time with the younger students, she showcased terrific leadership skills and public speaking skills!

Before tonight's wrestling match, the Blue Devils took a moment to honor the memory of Tyler Spellicy. Tyler's father, Matthew, and longtime friend and teammate William Kantor each took the microphone to offer some heartfelt words of remembrance and reflection.

Congratulations to Camden wrestler Talon Kimball on achieving his 100th career victory in tonight's match against Canastota!

Tonight will be a special one in the CHS Gymnasium as the Camden Boys' Wrestling program honors one of its own.
There will be a ceremony around 5:45, with wrestling beginning at 6:00 PM. Please join us.
