We are looking to fill two regular part-time positions in the role of Food Service Helper, and continually seeking substitute candidates! Come be part of our District food service team and make a difference for our students each day. Our permanent positions are for five hour shifts every school day. Substitutes would enter a pool to have the opportunity to work on an on-call basis. Apply through the Oneida County Civil Service portal at https://oneida-portal.mycivilservice.com/otheropp. Be sure to select "Camden Central Schools" when you do. Questions about this position can be directed to Kelly Eveleth at keveleth@camdencsd.org.

Did you know that CHS Student-Athletes can play ice hockey? It's possible through an arrangement with the Mohawk Valley Jugglers program, which is a regional co-op team for players across the area whose schools do not sponsor their own team. If you have the chance to do so, come on out and support CHS student-athletes Brodie and Evan Buckingham this winter!

Mrs. Gonzalez's first grade classroom has been fortunate enough to have volunteer guest readers over past month, and students have enjoyed this very much! Student Aurora Johnson has really enjoyed the experience, in large part because it has become an activity for her family to enjoy! Her mom, dad, sister and grandmother were all able to make an appearance! The class is thankful to all of its guest readers, and they look forward to having more readers in the classroom soon!

Students in Mrs. Malenowski's 2nd grade IFA reading group at McConnellsville have been studying the Northeastern States this fall. They finished learning about Pennsylvania last week, and they made Liberty Bells out of recyclables and other materials as part of a themed STEM challenge to celebrate their new knowledge of our neighbors to the south!
