The event was well-received and a great experience for the students and staff.

Students in Mrs. Angell's writing group at McVille wrote persuasive essays as to why someone would want to buy their Gingerbread Houses. Of course, good marketing sense says you should have a house for them to buy. So, students were able to execute their own vision by building houses based on what they wrote!

On Thursday, Camden Elementary School celebrated Holiday Family Night!
A highlight of the evening was a new edition of the CES Masked Reader Initiative, featuring an appearance by the actual Grinch! Our students also got to meet with Santa to make any last-minute requests.
At this point, the Grinch probably is just asking Santa if he can be out of trouble. It's a big ask, but maybe he'll come through.
Who was our reading grinch? You'll see a video later today so you can start guessing, and the grand reveal will happen right before break!
